Apprentice Trainer
– now
Next to my regular job I train our application development apprentices. Code reviews, small practice projects, and a lot of explaining why the build is red. Some of my training material is on GitHub (in German).
For the Kotlin basics I built dot., a free learning platform where apprentices write the code themselves instead of watching someone else do it.

Android and full-stack work on SPEDION's telematics platform. Mostly Kotlin, some Java, and C#/.NET or Next.js whenever the task needs it. Features, bug fixes, UI work, auth, deployments. Whatever keeps the trucks moving.
- Main SPEDION app: ongoing feature development, bug fixes, UI improvements, dark mode
- Navigation app: ongoing feature development and bug fixes, core components, notification engine
- DocScan: started the development and the first Compose UI, then finished it together with coworkers
- Login migration across Android, iOS and backend
- Kubernetes and deployment automation together with the team
Co-Founder

A small open source project I started with friends. The idea: apps that only collect the data they actually need. So far that's been a travel guide, a time tracker, a link-in-bio service, and now a JMAP mail client. It's a side thing, but it's where I learned most of what I know about building a product from zero.
