Most email apps are either nice to use and hungry for your data, or private and stuck in 2004. I'd like one that's both.

Slynite Mail talks JMAP instead of IMAP and is written with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform, so the same code runs on Android, iOS, desktop and the web. The JMAP part comes from a Rust library with Kotlin bindings, which is a great way to find out how little you know about native interop.

It's early. The architecture is in place (Decompose, MVI, SQLDelight for the local cache) and the MVP list is long. If you know JMAP and want to help, send me a message.
